Woodward Conference Room Upgrades
Scope of Work
High Country Low Voltage partnered with Woodward to modernize and streamline the audiovisual systems in two key spaces: their large conference room space and cafeteria.
In the large conference room, the goal was to create a highly functional Microsoft Teams Room optimized for hybrid collaboration. A large-format LED video wall serves as the central display for presentations and video conferencing, providing an immersive viewing experience for in-person attendees. The room is now equipped with intelligent audio and camera systems that ensure clear communication with remote participants, while a touch panel allows for effortless control of the entire setup. By using Q-SYS, we provided a flexible and scalable control platform that also integrates with the room’s automated lighting and shades for a seamless user experience.
The cafeteria was also brought onto the same Q-SYS platform, creating consistency in both functionality and ease of use across spaces. We upgraded the projection system and added local audio controls through a new wall-mounted touch panel. Microphone and source controls are now intuitive and user-friendly, allowing the space to be used for anything from lunch-and-learns to overflow presentations without technical assistance.
By modernizing both rooms and tying them together with a unified AV control backbone, we helped the client simplify operations, reduce reliance on IT support, and create professional-grade environments for communication and engagement. The result is a future-ready system that supports day-to-day collaboration as well as special events, while remaining easy for staff to manage.
