RKS Airport LED Signage
Summary
Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport (RKS) – Terminal Modernization Digital Signage Systems
Rock Springs, WY – Completed 2025
As part of the Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport’s $43 million terminal modernization, High Country Low Voltage partnered with Daktronics to deliver a full digital signage and direct-view LED solution that elevates the passenger experience and supports the airport’s new high-tech vision. The revitalized terminal now features dynamic visual messaging, intuitive wayfinding, and modern digital architecture—all powered by HCLV’s expertise in aviation-grade AV integration.
HCLV and Daktronics designed, installed, calibrated, and commissioned all LED video walls and LCD display systems throughout the terminal. This included a recessed LED feature wall in baggage claim, a dual-sided LED system mounted above the baggage carousel, and a dramatic LED wrap display surrounding the secure exit lane—each built using Daktronics 1.2mm dvLED technology and integrated with DI-6000 processing.
Across the concourse, lobby, ticketing, baggage, gate, and hold room areas, HCLV installed 15 commercial-grade Sharp/NEC displays equipped with dedicated media players and a cloud-hosted signage platform. These displays now provide flight information, branding, emergency messaging, and public content with exceptional reliability and clarity.
Every element of the system—from LED video walls to LCD information screens—was engineered and executed to meet the demands of a 24/7 aviation environment. HCLV partnered closely with Daktronics to deliver precise calibration, seamless integration, full staff training, and comprehensive documentation.
The result is a modernized terminal environment where technology enhances flow, communication, and the overall passenger experience. High Country Low Voltage is proud to have delivered the digital backbone of one of the most advanced regional airport terminals in the Mountain West.
