All-Hands Meeting Space
Scope of Work
High Country Low Voltage (HCLV) was selected to deliver a comprehensive AV solution for a hybrid-capable meeting room designed to support both in-room and remote collaboration with exceptional clarity and ease of use. The project aimed to create a seamless integration between presentation tools, conferencing platforms, and audio reinforcement—all while maintaining aesthetic harmony with the space’s architectural elements.
At the core of the video system, HCLV installed an ultra-bright 8,000-lumen laser projector paired with a 189″ fixed projection screen in a 16:10 aspect ratio. This large-format display solution provides vivid, high-resolution visuals, ideal for presentations, virtual meetings, and hybrid events. To route video content from the Q-SYS processor to the projection system, a Liberty HDMI extender was deployed, running over Cat6 cabling to ensure reliable, high-quality signal delivery.
For unified communication, a Logitech TAP Teams Room Kit was installed, complete with a Teams NUC PC and Logitech Tap touch controller. This platform allows users to join and manage Microsoft Teams meetings with one-touch simplicity, integrating smoothly with the room’s other AV systems.
Audio performance was a central focus of the project. A Q-SYS Core Nano processor was installed to manage all audio routing and processing, ensuring clear and consistent sound both locally and to remote participants. The system is supported by a LEA amplifier that powers six QSC column speakers, which were mounted horizontally in pairs on four structural beams. This mounting approach not only provides wide and even sound coverage but also visually complements the room’s existing architectural features.
To accommodate live presenters and audience participation, two Shure GLXD wireless microphones were installed—one designated for the presenter and one for the audience. These were originally specified as handheld models but could be adapted to a lapel configuration depending on the client’s preference. A 12-port Netgear switch was included to create a dedicated AV network, ensuring fast, isolated traffic flow for all AV components.
This installation will deliver a professional-grade hybrid meeting experience, with intuitive controls, flexible connectivity, and a robust AV backbone that supports high-quality audio and video for any type of meeting or event. The final solution reflects HCLV’s commitment to performance, reliability, and thoughtful system design that blends seamlessly into the space.
