Mikron Conference Room Updates
Summary
Mikron partnered with HCLV to modernize one of their main conference rooms, aiming to create a fully wireless environment that would support more flexible and efficient meetings. The existing AV setup no longer met the needs of a hybrid workforce. HCLV delivered a sleek and functional upgrade that emphasized ease of use, enhanced video conferencing, and high-quality audio-visual performance.
Scope of Work
To support Mikron’s goals, HCLV designed the following audiovisual system:
- Display Upgrade: Two large 98″ displays were installed to replace the former projector and screen and presentation impact for both in-room and remote participants.
- Video Conferencing Integration: A 4K camera was mounted below the displays to provide full-room coverage, ensuring that everyone is clearly seen during virtual meetings.
- Audio Enhancement: Two ceiling microphones were installed to capture voice from anywhere in the room, while four ceiling speakers were added to distribute sound evenly and clearly throughout the space.
- Wireless Presentation System: A wireless conferencing and presentation hub was installed, allowing users to connect their own devices without plugging in cables. The system enables either mirrored presentations from a single laptop or dual presentations from two separate devices—each shown on its own display.

With high-impact visuals, reliable room-wide audio, and flexible wireless presentation capabilities, the new system empowers Mikron’s teams to conduct meetings more efficiently—whether hosting internal strategy sessions or connecting with remote colleagues.
